Hey guys,
dont really know if this is in the right place but my girlfriend opened up the wrong email im guessing and definetly got a virus. Her norton piece of crap says its the net32.sky or something like that. Anyways im completely computer ******ed and was wondering if there was anything i could do without reformatting. Thanks in advance.
(and it really is my girlfriends computer before all those "op downloaded pr0n and got a virus then blamed it on his imaginary girlfriend" replies)
get a better antivirus. I recommend Kaspersky, or if you need a free one, AVG or Avast! I never found norton could remove any virus it detected, and it was a resource hog, thus useless.
Boot in safe mode with networking, run the updater on norton, then scan for viruses with that program, adaware, and spybot as well. Clean it all up, and reoot.
