Hi, so im looking to buy a new monitor instead of grinding on a tiny laptop to give my eyes a break. Ideally i would be happy if i could tile 9 tables on the monitor so that the tables wouldn't have to be tiny (at the moment i can only tile 6 on the laptop screen, and that's with them being really small!)

So what's better? considering im looking at 23-24inch monitors.

A higher resolution widescreen 1920 x 1080 which i dont think would fit 3 x 3 tables using the whole screen (so would this be wasting monitor space?)

Or

A lower resolution one, still like 23-24 inches but where there would be no excess space on the monitor as 3 x 3 would fit nicely?

I hope i've made sense with my question, im a big noob when it comes to this sort of thing... Thanks in advance for your help.
