Hello everybody. (I'm doctor Nick har har etc etc).
I was thinking about getting an OEM internal Blu-ray drive for my computer (Windows 7 64bit), but obviously OEM drives do not come with any software. Obviously I could pirate some, but if I wanted to be a good kiddy does anyone know of any free software that plays Blu-rays? I've obviously Googled this problem and keep getting those stupid brothersoft.com links (which are no help to anyone). Is there some freeware out there or should I just spend the extra $15 and get a retail drive?
Thanks.

Reason: I say obviusly a lot for some reason. (obviously)
Check the Internet for a boxed LiteOn BD Combo drive. (BlueRay read, DVD burner). Model number iHES 208-092. I found one at WalMart for $89. Came with all needed software. This is an older generation model (mine was manufactured 04/09) but works fine. You may be able to find one on closeout in some corner of the Internet.
The player that I decided to get came with PowerDVD 8. So far it has worked with Iron Man and Transformers. If it stops working I'll have to figure out something to do.
I guess while I'm bumping this thread I would like to ask what is the best way to save your Blu-rays onto your computer. I used DVDFab 8 (which is free) to make an MKV of Transformers, but it was ~32GB. Anyone know of a good way to make a smaller file?
