Computer lags with PT3 HUD running Computer lags with PT3 HUD running

I'm having problems playing a lot of tables with my PT3 HUD running. I'm currently grinding SNGs on Full Tilt, and when I get 10+ tables going with the HUD my computer just lags worse with each table I add. I'd like to be able to max out my tables at 16, but currently anything over 12 is unplayable due to the lag. Without the HUD running everything is fine and I can load as many tables as I want. My computer is a Dell Studio XPS 8100. It has an Intel Pentium G6950 Processor (3MB Cache, 2.80GHz). The hard drive is 1 TB SATA 3Gb/s (7200RPM) w/ 16MB DataBurst Cache. The RAM is 4GB DDR3 1066 MHz (2 DIMMs). Do I need to upgrade any of this hardware to meet my needs? Would a dedicated hard drive for my PT3 database solve the problem? I'd like to fix this as cheaply as possible, but will do what ever it takes.

Try the free HEM trial, see if it helps. Probably will.

Open PT3. See what your Cache status is on the bottom left. If it isn't 100% rebuild the cache and then test.

This. Your system is plenty strong to handle the kind of load you're talking about if you have a cache at 100%. If you haven't, you'll probably also want to run Vacuum and Analyze (though the cache will make the biggest difference).

If you're still having trouble after that, please restart PT3 with the Logging Enabled link and report this problem to us via the PT support system and we'll look into it further for you.
