I ran a search and couldn't find any threads on this that were more recent than 2 years ago, so I apologize if this has been asked to death and my attempts at searching have failed.

I am currently relocated in Canada for 3 - 6 months. I am staying in a coach house (apartment over a garage) and my internet piggy backs the homeowners. Have had a decent amount of disconnects in just a week, so I am looking for reliable backup. I don't own an i-phone but recently bought some cheap Virgin prepaid phone to satisfy Stars phone requirement (that was before I realized that a landline phone was going to be included in my rental).

What are my best options? Please keep in mind that I don't know that much about air cards or ... sticks. I'm not even sure how much bandwidth I will need in a month to multitable on Stars (4-8 tables, 6 days a week, 6-10 hours a day). One of the older threads had something about one of the aircard plans allowing up to 1gig a month. While that might sound like a lot for a backup, it's entirely possible that this will be my primary as the internet connection here is so crappy. So any recommendation on total bandwidth I would need would help also. Please help.

If you have a landline, Bell might be the best option. Online poker uses a relatively negligible amount of traffic, but data stick plans are expensive for the caps they give you. If it's strictly as a backup and you're not going to use it much, then even their lowest plans should suffice.

Thanks Rodeo.

I already purchased from Wind Mobile. They had an 10gig a month plan for $35 and the data stick was also $35.
