sry if this is posted in the wrong area, i didnt know where else to post...

i havee just spent a few hours trying to remove a virus from my PC, its listed as a HTML:script-inf and during my boot scan hundreds of C:windows files have been sent to the virus "chest" - i am nervous to say the least about all my private info (poker passwords ect) that are on my computer, what steps to i need to follow to ensure im not gonna done over, thx
