i'm building a pc for poker and plan on running one 30" monitor with one or two 20" monitors.

intel i5 760

evga p55 sli

g.skill ripjaws 4gb (2x2gb) ddr3 1600

windows 7 home premium

EVGA 01G-P3-1452-TR GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) Superclocked 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video

**i could really use some help with video card(s). i am not gaming with this computer at all. if i eventually run three monitors, is it best to use two video cards? is the gts 450 overkill? i need dual dvi for the 30". will the evga motherboard work for my video card(s) needs?

80gb ssd

what's the difference between these drives?:

Intel X25-M Mainstream SSDSA2MH080G2R5 2.5" 80GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Intel X25-M SSDSA2MH080G2K5 2.5" 80GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

haf 922 or antec 300? is the 922 worth $100 when i can get the antec for $55?

what psu and how many watts?

finally, i don't intend to overclock. any additional cooling needed?

please let me know if i have any compatibility issues or if i'm missing anything. i am a bit overwhelmed. thanks for any help and recommendations! i greatly appreciate it!

Basically any modern graphics card is fine for poker so a cheaper card (or two) would be just fine if it has the necessary port for your 30". Your m/b does have the slots for two graphics cards. For your purposes the graphics cards do not have to be the same so another could be added later.

There are also some USB workarounds for adding the 3rd monitor that I remember seeing in this forum or you could also use an eyefinity capable graphics card plus a displayport monitor (or active adapter) if you wished to use only one graphics card.

You may decide to get a cheaper m/b that will do the same job.

If the SSD model number ends in...

G2C1, then it's "OEM" package with just the SSD
G2R5, then it's "Retail" package with SSD + 3.5" adapter
G2K5, then it's "Pretty box" with SSD + 3.5" adapter + SATA & power cables

will i need the adapter, sata and power cables or will it come with my case or motherboard? thanks!

The adapter is to screw in the 2.5" drive into a 3.5" bay. If you don't plan on screwing it tight, you don't need it.
SSDs don't care about vibrations or heat that much, so you can just lay it in the case or fix it with tape band.
The power cable comes from your PSU anyways and if you really need the additional SATA cables depends on how many come with your mobo and how many SATA devices you plan on plugging in.

So, you could get the OEM bundle. I would just check if there's any differences in the warranty between OEM and retail.
