Cant get past it feels wrong. not convincing.

It would make it very spooky that the natural solutions to efficient computer problems look very much like reality.

Metric said something like that once, that he was looking over some math and something just doesn't seem to "fit" unless we're in a simulation. I think he also said the many worlds interpretation was awfully "neat" from a mathematical standpoint.

I don't see how "spooky" can be avoided.

I mean, if everything were perfectly inane, wouldn't that be pretty spooky?

I agree with metric except it also seems plausible in realities with finite resources, and there doesn't seem any reason to believe infinite resources exist within a real word.

Even if there are infinitely many worlds it doen't suggest that any of them have infinite resources.
