Woke up with a headache. It went away after a few naps. By the time i got my hands on a thermometer, my headache had went away. My body temp is normal. I feel totally fine. If i wake up feeling off tomorrow, i will be looking to get tested.

If you had knowledge of everything referred to in the sonh "We didn't the fire", then youd probally fare well in a general knowledge quiz, but you'd be even more likely to fare well if the questions asked pertained to those exact subjects. Such is the problem with IQ tests.

I've got 5 holes in me. Still feel horrible but they kind of wanted me out of there after 1 night. No sexy nurses either. Hated to tell them that their touted 'Robotic Surgery Device' was not a robot (doctor stands off to the side controlling everything) so I kept quiet. Asked 1 nurse how long she thought it would take evolution to eliminate the appendix and got a 'wut?' in reply.

I think it's time to take another Percocet plus I have to feed mom dinner. Better off if I'd died during this minor procedure and put an end to the horror.

First thing I was aware of after operation was hearing the nurses discussing whether to give me dilaudid or fentanyl, I think they went w/ fentanyl, didn't ask but kept answering 'MORE!' when asked if I needed it. That kept me ok for most of the night.

You're a cheerful fellow, masque, I wish that I were the same way.

IDK why they kept me only one day w/ 5 holes in me sending me home w/ only a prescription for Percocet, I'm pretty miserable right now. At least I don't have Covid and I'm pretty sure that one of the nurses said there wasn't anyone w/ Covid in the hospital but, being pumped full of fentanyl, I might not have understood correctly. Sure could use some more of that right now.

I think I'll pop a pill and sleep for the rest of the day.

Five bullet holes, none superficial, and they may have kept you for more than one day - otherwise you get booted out. More important patients than you covet the needed bed space and you are just a dispensable old man that had standard surgery. Take your drugs and stop whining. The worse part is that you will live and continue to plague society with your worthless existence. But that is what most of us do by default anyway so don't beat yourself up over it.

I must be in better shape than I'd thought. Got the EKG, blood tests, etc and got booted out as Zeno put it w/ half my gut black and blue. And what I had is minor surgery. Now I have to hope that I never need major surgery, jfc.

btw, the discharge papers include 5 pages or so of 'drugs are bad' bec I was prescribed the Percocet which included methods of quitting drugs. Heh, what I want is more drugs.
