ramblings of a lay man ramblings of a lay man

So I was watching a programme on physics and these geezers were puzzled why matter/stars rotated just as quick on the periphery of a galaxys than the centre. There simply wasn't enough matter for this to be possible, so to try and balance the equations they literally just invented 'dark matter'! Now I have no problem getting my head around believing in something I can't see, touch. weigh and feel. After all I was brought up a Roman catholic. The problem I did have why there wasn't more alternative theorys!

So here goes. I once heard that if the sun was to disappear instantly the earth wouldn't shoot off into space instantly but a wave of the very fabric of space would head towards the planets pushing them off course. It therefore stands to reason that these waves are travelling all around

I've just realised I am drunk and chattin crap. Goodbye

You say "literally just invented" dark matter, but there was/is a ton of evidence to suggest dark matter or something else serving its purpose must exist. Coming up with random theories WITHOUT evidence is a very different matter, but dark matter is the best explanation at the moment.

I dunno. Watching the preliminary fight taking place just before the Pacquiao-Clottey main event I noticed the crowd insanely cheering when practically nothing was happening in the prelim fight. Turns out they were doing the Wave to pass the time till the main event. So I think maybe OP has something with his Wave Theory.
