Okay, it was definitely a territorial bird, probably a crow.

I may have to purchase a pair of cowboy boots soon. Yippy. [I gave my only pair away to a thrift store during last move]. I always wanted to be a cowboy. Well, I always wanted to be Pope as first choice as I stated up thread, but that looks too remote at present so I will settle for cowboy for now.

Not enough legs. Clearly TWO crows practicing for a future synchronized crow walking around competition.

Okay, it was definitely an animal. Or a leaf.

So, when I'm drinking, I tend to stumble. As not to make myself look a fool by staggering around, I crawl on all fours. I'm more stable that way.

PTB is only mad that I wet on his leg.

Having confessed to watch Friends and liking it, I would also like to confess that I find their use of the laugh track amazing. They seem to know exactly how funny each of their jokes is, moderating the intensity of the laughter to match.

There was some noise going on from gardening equipment so I didn't hear the runner behind me preparing to pass on my left. However, it was not the runner that startled me.

I didn't stop him to ask his name. I don't think this was a case of Sciophobia. Something more like Cynophobia. All that talk about rabies and needles in the stomach when I was a kid.

Aha! But you mentioned the sun in the sky behind you, so the first thing you would have noticed in your peripheral would have been his shadow scurrying along towards your feet like a small dog. That's a bingo!

Rabies and horror movies suggest bats, but nothing else does.
