i am not going to nit up this thread but this is a ridiculous claim, the first of which is that the devils sell out their playoff games. but i can assure you there are several reasons why new jersey doesn't sell out. try putting a team in cherry hill and see how well it would do.

ps: i'm not really rooting against the phillies in this series, so please don't mistake me for a hater.

There was once a boxing match in Cherry Hill pitting a local against someone from the west coast.

He started shouting "THE DEVILS SUCK! THE NETS SUCK!"

He was allegedly quite confused when people started cheering

Hey I think Rays fans are awesome. I made one "hater" post which stated "oh see them all coming out of the woodwork" a few days back. But other than that, i am MUCH happier to be playing a team that has you guys for fans as opposed to the Red Sox Nation.

During Game 3 of the World Series on Saturday night, Rays family members and employees say they were harassed and abused by Phillies fans at Citizens Bank Park to an unacceptable degree.

Children were cursed at, and one 9-year-old boy had beer poured on him. A Rays family member stayed locked in a bathroom stall because, he said, Phillies fans were banging on the walls and threatening him.

This isn't just rude or profane; it is intimidating and threatening. It is women being called whores and worse. It is children having food thrown at them. It is being pushed, shoved and jostled in the concourses.

Does this sort of thing happen at other stadiums? Without a doubt. And I'm sure it has happened on occasion at Tropicana Field, too. But no city has the reputation of Philadelphia. And the Rays have never complained about another stadium in this way.

Which begs the question: are Philadelphia homers as obnoxious in victory as they are in defeat?

Spoiler:
We'll never know.

The Devils have a bandwagon?

Seriously, nobody gives a crap about them whether they win or lose. They have a small core of hard-core fans that doesn't really grow too much during the playoffs of Stanley Cup runes.

Possibly, but I think they will play. Not as bad as Saturday. Plus rain is predicted tomorrow, too, and Fox really does not want a game Tuesday night.

I've seen stuff like this happen, but it happens everywhere. Having a few drunk idiots behaving like this does not take away the thousands upon thousands of great fans who've loved their teams through years of misery.

This series is a long way from over. In Game 1 we had Cole pitching and the game definately could have gone either way. It's a baseball game, anything can happen.

If we lose tonight we have to go back to Tampa and a Rays team that will surely be revitalized. We also have to face a Garza who, as we've seen, can be lights out when he's on.

The series isn't over.

I believe with all my heart that Cole is going to deal tonight and we're going to win, but I've played and watched sports my entire life. Crazy stuff happens. Leave the champagne closed for a few more hours guys...

The Devils do not have bandwagon fans. They do not have many fans period.

We have two other Devil's fans on this site other than me.
I started a Devils thread and it did not get any traction.
