- I finished 2nd in the Heisman Voting in the mid 80's as a junior. My specialty coach that year was Jim Tressel
- I broke an NFL record held by Marcus Allen, which was then surpassed by Larry Centers
- I played for 4 NFL teams in my career, made one Pro Bowl and was in one Super Bowl
- I finished my career with 54 touchdowns, not including 6 td passes.

Marcel "The Moroccan Bomber" Cerdan lost his title to Jake LaMotta. While flying back into New York prior to his re-match, the plane crashed killing all people onboard.

I was a highly regarded quarterback coming out of college. Unfortunately, my professional career was a disaster and I am regarded as one of the biggest draft busts in NFL history. - At the end of my NFL career I held the record for most receptions. In the 2009 season my team record was broken.
