What sports story would the media love most? What sports story would the media love most?

What could happen in the world of sports journalism that would get the most column inches for the longest time? It could be anything America winning every gold medal at the summer Olympics, the first ever female MLB player having the best batting average of the league in her first year, Brett Farve getting diagnosed with a rare fatal disease resigning for the Packers anyway, taking them to the Superbowl and dying on the last play of the game after throwing a hail mary touchdown to win it in overtime.

What do you think?

Funny, I was just thinking about this earlier.

I'll go with Muhammad Ali cured, although Parkinson's suddenly disappearing might get some mention outside the sports pages. When he (or MJ or Tiger) dies, that will be quite a week.

Tiger getting caught in bed with Michelle Wie or Amy Mickelson might get some clicks.

The terrorist attacks at the 2012 Olympics will be widely reported.

As for actual "on-field" stuff, Manning-Manning Super Bowl?

In the US? Some kind of NFL gambling scandal showing that games have been fixed for years.

Everywhere else? The same thing in the Premier League.

Tim Tebow revealing that he is in fact the second coming of Jesus Christ and proving it by turning Les Miles into a pillar of salt on the sideline next weekend.

Already happened in the NBA and the media swept it under the rug.

Am I the only poster who thinks Franchise and Untouchable are indeed one and the same person?

confirmed.

an additional 6k for a 20k account would be the standard play by a forum pro imo, not really an "absurd" amount relatively speaking.

It's absurd if you look at the ppd. 6K and 20K isn't all that much I guess but we might have the two highest ppd in SE.

I wonder who has the highest ppd in 2p2 history. I just went and calculated Andrew Karpinski at 50+ ppd during his four month posting reign of terror, wonder if anyone has ever beat that.

It'd probably be some catastrophe, likely a terrorist attack, Tiger getting injured/killed by a rabid fan, or the Raiders winning the Super Bowl.
