Assume FH is talkin about game to game momentum and not in game momentum. If that's the case, he's 100% right. For example, many times game 2 lines typically trend the way of the loser of game 1- i.e. if home team is upset the game 2 line will make them bigger favs.

The Warriors had "the momentum" goin into okc, in game 3. the Thunder won games 3 & 4 they sure as hell had the momentum up 3-1. In reality it's mostly just a fake thing people who need to create narratives for everything use.

It's psychological with Durant tho. It's clear as day on his face, simply watch him. When he gets super shook he looks up at the scoreboard to confirm when the game will be over. Guy really is nothing but a tall thin tough to guard chucker. You can still be one hell of a chucker but chuckers don't win chips unless Shaq is your teammate.

AJ not a single one of your posts got under my skin despite the fact that it's pretty easy to get under my skin, so you're incredibly bad at that. Until now, when you reveal yourself to be one of the biggest simpletons in the history of mankind for thinking Steph is a hero for donating like $600 to charity over the course of a season - nothing sorrier than "derp, dude with 9 figure net worth gave away THOUSANDS to charity, what a great person". Think critically you dumb ****s and learn what hyperbole is.

But really, hyperbole aside, you're in massive mouthbreather territory when you're praising 9 figure people for giving away 3 figures.

Someone should multiquote all the geniuses that called this series after game 4. Which was pretty much the entire thread. I want OKC to win but as a Suns fan I've learned the hard way it takes four wins to win a seven game series. Perhaps those analytics simply aren't advanced enough for some of you to appreciate.

By the way, has a road team actually won a game seven in a meaningful series in the last twenty years aside from Dallas in San Antonio in 2006? There's probably one or two I'm missing but can't think of them.

Hey BJ- while it's fun to point out AJs hypocrisy (Terrible person LeBron has done about 10000x more in terms of charity than all time great human Steph), do you have a single shred of evidence to defend the kinda strange point you're tryin to make? Like LeBron, Stephs on court persona isn't for everyone, I understand that, but how exactly is he "scum"? As far as I'm concerned he seems like a pretty decent guy- family man who is inspiring today's youth in a way LeBron (and other freak athletes) never could.

"Since the inception of the NBA, 124 game sevens have been played. Of those, 24 game sevens have been won by the road team".

That's pretty rough, gotta be under expectation. Thunder due obvs.

EDIT: To answer your question, this was a pretty good one
http://www.basketball-reference.com/...206020SAC.html

EDIT 2: Kings played an overtime game 7 playing 8 players total, however, the Lakers starters played for 40 total minutes more than the Kings starters. Kerr would have a heart attack.

Cousy brought flair to the game much earlier. And the Globetrotters were a thing long before he came into the league. But I wouldn't hard fight his induction into whatever list this is.

As far as Russell, good point about the defense. But depending how far back you want to go, might as well include Mikan. If you're gonna make Steph/Klay a single entry, Wilt/Russell can be as well imo.

"Scum" is hyperbole because he acts like a 13 year old.

Also, man in his 30s who moved to the Bay Area last year and I know for a fact doesn't care about sports at all and is one of the people who uses the term "sportsball" in a disparaging way:

Bc there's actual athletes who are scum. People who beat the **** out of their "loved ones" or smother them in gasoline on a bed full of guns. Not everyone has to be a fan of or root for Steph, but I'll just never understand pure hatred for a guy as good as he is who seems to be, at the very least, a pretty decent human being. I just don't get how a basketball fan would enjoy watching him with hate more than sitting back and enjoying the show.

Donovan has some decisions to make in game 7. Kerr is certainly going to force his hand again.

Not much.

GS will probably be like -270 either way, maybe slightly higher if they really put it on OKC and the free world is thinking Curry is "back"
