He is/has been the host of many many shows on Channel 4, and is my favourite comedian. This may be more of a personal choice rather then value because he is exactly my humor and love all his shows/gigs. I think he will be a terrific host for my Variety Show plus jump in every now and then with the perfect delivered joke like always. If you haven't seen any of his shows/gigs, I suggest you download them all.

Not going to lie, I'm thinking about having a standard talk show format with Conan and just having Norm on as a guest every night.

I didn't say anything until now because I wanted to see what he had in mind, but yeah.

Allen and Ramis are both really good picks. I was watching Annie Hall over the break and it is insane how that entire movie is basically a pre-cursor to all modern comedy, it is unfortunate Allen has traded being prolific for being transcendent recently, but I really think he was first round value.

Ramis is also a great pick his stretch that goes "Animal House, Meatballs, Caddyshack, Stripes, Vacation, Ghostbusters" is probably the greatest streak by any comedic filmmaker ever.

I like Jimmy Carr more than a lot of people (hell I know who he is). I saw him open for CK twice and his gameshow Distraction was a really awesome show to watch while channel surfing late at night. However he would have been available in round 16.

With the next pick I hope to add to my developing modern comedy supertroop: Colbert and Sandler add big-league laughs and versatility, but now I really need to pick someone that plays to the modern TV viewer. I don't think many of you will initially agree with this pick, but he's arguably the driving comedic force on the most popular variety show currently on television.

He's not the name you might think of from the show, but he's the mind behind most of the memes that make the show a massive success, and he's also a sick musician that probably has a grammy or two ahead of him.

Watch 15 minutes of the show without a snob predisposition before you critique this please. I think he's currently (not kidding) the funniest guy on television.

Norm MacDonald is hilarious. Plus I think he knows a thing or two about poker, so your variety show may or may not be able to have some sort of segment about poker.

Carr was pretty bad on that game show on Comedy Central. I haven't seen any of his real work to really judge the pick though.

I know it seems like a troll, but I think it's dead serious value. Jersey Shore has the highest viewership in cable television history for a reason
