The aim to parity is a solid policy to ensure the league stays afloat. It's good..... for now.

....NFL has no pro/rel system.

I am not saying that no entity who's goal is to have parity will ever work. I am saying that an entity with that goal is far less likely to compete as a dominate entity in its industry than one w/o that goal.

I was also pointing out how little it matters if there is a promotion/relegation system too.

It's hard to put a number to something like this, but I'd say 100 times more important might have underestimated the importance of giving clubs more freedoms.

I guarantee you there's no team down there who's refusing to release a Mexican player. Such a **** move... but would you expect anything less?

Please Cruzin, explain to us again that it means the world to us to beat Mexico when you're the ones acting like scumbags to get any possible edge.

Vazquez came in with... Mixed reviews at best. Though similar things were sad about JK so whatever. I kind of always thought they were a package deal. Something really odd this. It smells.

While I like the NFL's revenue sharing, there's no competitor league of any importance. MLS has to compete with all the European leagues. If they can't pay like Madrid and Bayern and Manchester, they won't have those sorts of players.

oh yes, Puebla did this to give Mexico an edge going into to Wednesday. c'mon now, don't be so dumb.Puebla is fighting to avoid relegation and if i were them, I wouldn't let them go either.

and you are wrong. there was a team who refused to let one of our players from going and it happens to be our best player, ORIBE PERALTA. i will forgive your ignorance because something this big would have been mentioned by now from me, i just didn't bother.

Oribe was left out because he requested to be left out. You are the one who is ignorant.

and you are the true ignorant person if you believe that. Oribe is obviously covering for Santos here. After Mexico's last friendly, Caixinha and Santos management were crying about how Oribe's duties with the Mexican team were becoming too much when at the same time, Santos is playing Liga MX and Libertadores.

Continuing on with our conversation about parity vs. club freedom it looks like Beckham is making it clear which side he is on.

Hate it... The horizontal stripe pattern of blue, white, red is pretty much the flag of Costa Rica. Makes zero sense to me. But whatever.

Would be better than that Dempsey picture. That doesn't even look like America. Looks like a Russian flag or something. Def needs some white starts on the blue shoulder parts.
