How could sky fall when it never was up

What is fair market on USA over .5? 1/5? I love how you can quantify my statement of "good chance" to be 50/50. Maybe even if I think it truly is 50/50 USA goes pointless, again, why bet with you when I get better odds elsewhere?

Its retreat because I'd rather get 4/1 or better on my money than 1/1? Ha.

Realistically Id say 20-35%. But my gut says closer to 50% I have very little faith in USA soccer

You must be the only person on planet earth who thinks "good chance" would mean <50%.

Good chance relative to the frequency teams go pointless at world cups. If consider 30% pretty good anyway. Its not bad is it?!?!

What's the point of this thread, then, besides masturbatory self-delusion? No one in this thread can seriously believe that the USA has a player of the class of Arbeloa, so what's the point of all this USA#1 silliness? To feel better about the inevitable loss? To congratulate your team on being where it was in the 1990s, only with an older Landon Donovan? For having hired a mediocre German coach? (Tata Martino will soon be available, though). It's like some idiot starting a thread claiming that the Oklahoma Sooners would win the NFL and threatening to ban anyone who disagrees with him. It's a pure trolling thread, so how can you expect that there won't be trolls?

What country are you from where the term "tongue in cheek" hasn't reached? This thread is fun because it isn't anything like the other ****ty soccer threads with idiots trolling nonstop. We are a dedicated fan base; we're realistic. We don't want this thread to devolve. If you don't like it, leave.

I thought this thread was about trying to get free roll bets

The initial response was to see if you were enough of an idiot to believe what you were saying and pounce on a +ev opportunity. Once you established that you do know how poorly ev your position was I threw you a bone and politely asked you to be a valuable member of the discussion. Then you proved you either: a. don't understand basic English or b. are a troll. If it is, in fact, a, you perpetuate it by using the logical fallacy of arguing something that is not the point of the true meaning of the disagreement. You really have no leg to stand on and you're kind of pathetic. The day you realize I say this for your benefit is the day you may begin not to suck as a human. Best wishes.

Absolutely not. France has been trending upward recently and we have gone the other way. At that point things were on a different trajectory for us.
