As much as I think cruiz talks a lot of crap, Mexico winning the Olympics is a legit decent achievement. Didn't know they had won a confeds cup tho, what year was that?

And yeah lol youth cups, I think Ireland won a couple of euros recently and got me and my dad all excited and nothing has progressed to the senior side.

Mexico won the Confed Cup in 99. It's worth noting that the tournament was hosted in Mexico. It's also worth noting that all 5 of Mexico's games were played at Azteca.

Yes, they rigged it so Mexico would play all 3 group stages games, the semifinal and the final all at Azteca.

I do say so that they also rigged the groups.

Group A: Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Bolivia, Egypt
Group B: USA, Germany, Brazil, New Zealand

USA took 2nd in group B, so Mexico reached the final without having to play either Brazil or Germany.
