Matt ****ing Besler made so many huge cutoffs, both CBs just so beast. We were way unmanned for this game and just survived 90 at Azteca with DMB at left back.

There's a ton of credit to go around. Literally no one expected to be the best team tonight, but we played pretty damn well given what we had and what we needed to do.

HUGE point for team USA. WOOOOO!!!

on a side note: recently with all of the fixed matches FIFA has had and gotten in trouble for you think they would make it less obvious. Tonight team USA was lucky on 2 plays that should have been PKs with the 2nd one being one of the clearest PKs of all time. As a casual soccer fan i felt like i was watching a newer version of WWF.

Huge props to Gonzo and Besler I think no one expected that out of them. MB had some shakey moments but was generally bossing the middle while essentially playing both the holding and attacking mid role. Not sure what to say about DMB, but I guess he got the job done somehow
