Tuned into ESPN+ to watch Pepi and ****ing Taylor Twellman is doing the game. FML

Also football in empty stadiums is an unwatchable as Taylor Twellman is unlistenable

I can't see Pepi lasting in the Bundesliga. Either they go down or he goes out on loan. He looks so out of his depth

Our upcoming matches in this window:

Jan 27th, vs. El Salvador
Columbus, OH
7:30 PM start
projected gametime temp: 24 F/ -4 C

Jan 30th, vs. Canada
Ontario, Canada
3:00 PM start
projected gametime temp: 23 F/ -5 C

Feb 2nd, vs. Honduras
St Paul, Minn
7:30 PM start
projected gametime temp: 14 F/ -10 C, chance of snow

I am all for maximizing home-field advantage, and making these Cental American countries come play us here in cold weather conditions, but there is a limit, right?
It's likely to be in the single digits in Minnesota by the end of the game.

Cold weather when you are the better team with more skilled players and the weather forcing the other team to bunker more is just major FPS

Plus OUR players won't be comfortable playing at those temps. It's so ****ing dumb. The federation is a joke

Yah, I made the argument that it was dumb for Canada against minnows too. Especially b/c USA/Canada are by far the most athletic teams in the confederation. You don't want slow, potentially slippery fields. That's why these crap teams often grow the grass way out when big teams come to town.

That said, many in the thread have said that El Salvador is a bigger threat than Canada, so you can't take them lightly.

Although maybe the larger consideration is that Honduras and ES will have very few fans in OH/MN, but could have tons of fans in CA/FL/TX.

Puli, McKennie and Adams have never played a game at the same time before this week

I'd rather see Puli,McKennie and Adams pump these dudes on a proper ***** in nice weather playing beautiful football then some slogfest in the cold.

I think it's the **** pitches in El Salvador, Honduras, etc... that create the advantage rather than the warm weather. I get it for Mexico, but not the rest of these bums

I like the choices to stay out of shitty cities with a lot of Central Americans. And Canada choosing Hamilton was definitely a travel factor. If they chose Vancouver, we would have played San Jose/Portland. They're also trying to be fair to the whole country. (Nashville was also not an option due to Titans pre-booked)

Are we allowed to play games in Vegas? That seems like an awesome spot for one of these El Salvador/Jamaica type games

We are but Vegas hosted the GC Final so that probably disqualified them. Maybe Seattle and Atlanta could just get grass and we would have two excellent places to play. Austin already hosted and Cincy got Mexico. Orlando had something? We were kind of out of options since the NE and SW are like auto out against certain countries.
