They should play him up front or on the right, he's so stifled out on the left wing.

Inverting him and Buchanan is so obvious it's hard to watch.

Turkey is the GOAT league for "Oh that's where that dude is now?"

Besiktas for example has Larin, atiba, batshuayhi, pjanic, Alex Teixeira and Jermaine Lens

Amazing stuff. Could have done without those last couple of minutes though.

Good to see Mexico is as classy as ever.

Canada has mostly been as good or better than Mexico/USA in like 5/6 matches over the last year, no?

They also didn't even need David in this one, who could be a huge weapon, but seems to struggle with Canada (he has a lot of goals, but like all of them are in 6-0 wins vs. minnows, he only has 1-2 legit goals).

Yah, pretty much. Lyon is my team in Europe and I'll notice guys that leave Lyon will be floating around in Turkey 2-3 years later.

Tomori also has like, no chance to play for England in tournaments. Bizarre decision by him.

Few games where David has looker great with Canada tbh. Like he can be that penalty box dude that gets on the end of stuff, but I'd you're going to be a £50m player or whatever I want more in his all around game. Think there is very little between him and Larin.

Wow the last round has the following fixtures:

USA @ Mexico
USA V Panama
Panama v Canada

And it's the 3 games in 6 says **** again.

For us we have those 2 and then @ Costa Rica on the final day? Which one do you play the MLS All Stars in?

How long ago did he declare?

At the time Canada was far from a lock to make the world cup and he obv backs himself as a big time player. Basically the opposite decision of Mikel Antonio. With Davies there though he should had thought harder whereas Jamaica has nothing

Also were arguably even in 1 match and better in the other in 2 matches on American soil vs. USA in the past year.

Def empty the tank vs Mexico and Panama and if we need the backdoor equity Costa Rica hopefully rolls over with their team eliminated

Last time Berhalter punted the match @Panama which was one of the most important matches so far, so I don't have a ton of faith he'll come up with the optimal strategy.

think it took him forever to get his 1st cap (take a hint) and then he only recently sealed it with more

the only conclusion to draw is that he saw it as more of a career hindrance, which can be fair
(e.g. jonathan de guzman)

Next 3-match window is

Home El Salv
@ Canada
Home Honduras

So do you trust the MLS guys to win v. ES and go all out @Canada?

Still, a fraction as annoying as English and Americans tho.

Nor do I. Thus my concern

If you dont think an eliminated Costa Rica is going all out against us at home on the final day then you haven't CONCACAF'd. That game can't mean anything

Think you have to. But hopefully Reyna and Dest are back by then and we can minimize the lol MLS guys in even those games.

Yah, worst case scenario is that they're already eliminated when that final 3-match window begins. If that's the case, they'll go all in on USA, so hopefully they'll still have something to play for before, but it's looking a bit unlikely.

Theoretically, you could go 2-deep w/the front 6 and FBs and only have to use Pepi and maybe 1 MLS midfielder out of the 16, but that would require guys getting healthy.
