Mexico's tactics in a competitive match v Canada: bunkering with 5 at the back and only half-heartedly countering. Not something I expected to see in my lifetime.

Panama with 19 shots to El Salvador's 3, they still haven't broken thru yet lol

Edit: They scored a minute after I posted. Now 40 minutes to get the victory, not looking good

Double edit: And there's the 2-1, 2 minutes later. I wish El Salvador were half as good as the thread seems to think they are.

**** man, wish Panama would go away. They weren't remotely competitive last World Cup. Their ceiling is 1 point in the group stage. At least the others teams can make noise if they get hot (and Mexico is a lock for KO stage historically).

This is kinda silly tbh. OK, we get that the freezing cold is your big weapon or whatever, but it's made Davies invisible and he's like 90% of the attack. They could've selected somewhere that is merely cold that still has a usable field for soccer.

Why not play it at BC Place? Davies loves that building and would've god moded plus the place would've been loud and rocking. Makes way more sense imo
