He was never our best player but there was a time when Michael Bradley was really really good. He has completely fallen off a cliff and yes he is really bad.

hmm. in this half he's done the same stuff he's always done - played a ton of balls back to defenders, retained composure, and been present defensively while still threatening offensively. he's very good at playing behind the ball and, honestly, he does instill a sense of patience and competence which seems to be lacking from a lot of other players.

he never was really really good. he certainly won a lot of exercising awards and all that, and he got overinflated by neckbeards. but he's pretty obviously better than most of the other players on this field. and, again, maybe that says more about his contemporaries than himself, but he's decent

i just remember announcers would always praise his vision and passing and then id see his defending and id wonder why the **** was he played along the back because to me that seems like the most important thing about being a defender, ie. defending, which ream seemed incapable of doing
