Well, technically I did get freed. None of my original pösts survived, though. The former mod whose name is synonymous with "Nut Low", and who was the Führer of the Amphibian shadow government took those with him when he got usurped by We The People!

Tyler Adams bailed out by the keeper there. That was not a well executed breakaway but I'll take it. My man Bobby Wood banging home the PK

Passing looks crisper than I've seen in a while (even discounting for a friendly), but we really don't have anyone who's close to a threat on the dribble

Nice move by Saief, but how in the world did the ball bounce off his chest that way?

lmao, Dak Prescott decked out in all Mexico gear and the Univision cameras keep showing him, but the commentators are keeping quiet because they don't realize who he is.

Last night should really be Bobby Wood's last start for the USMNT unless he really has a revelation in his game.

A revelation? Who the hell are you playing over Bobby Wood? Jozy? Wondo? He is still our best option. Lol friendlies

last night it would have been better at times to not have a striker.

and he hasn't only sucked for USMNT lately, he's also sucked for HSV to the point they aren't even thinking about playing him. He's a big reason why HSV is going to the 2nd division for the first time ever. so no, not just lol friendlies.

Aron Johannsson is in better form in the bundesliga right now. There's one option.

I mean in games that actually matter, and not LOL friendlies, Bobby Wood has done much much more than any striker currently in USMNT. If we are even entertaining the idea of trotting out Jordan Morris and Dom Dwyer's then we have learned absolutely nothing from the 18 WCQ campaign.

I'm absolutely fine with giving AJo a run back in the team and hope he does well. And I'm excited to give more time to the young guys playing in Europe, but the MLS guys are just not valid options anymore and should never be again going forward.

Jozy is pretty clearly the best option at this moment. I'm not saying that like it's great shakes. But it is what it is.

RIP Charlie Davies

I mean you're right, but we should probably do our best to make sure someone can clear that bar by the time Copa America/WCQ roll around.

Also lol at this guy only using 4 of 6 subs and 1 in the 92 minute.

And **** you US soccer for only having 1 friendly when you're trying to rebuild. It's not like extra minutes for all the teenagers you called in would be a bad thing

I'm also ready to play MLS midfielders over Michael Bradley if we have to. That era needs to end

I posted this in the MLS thread too which I guess everyone probably also reads but I rec the Alexi Lalas podcast. It actually has good analysis and covers more than just MLS/EPL/Barca/Real/Bayern/PSG/Juve to some extent.
