I present you with Valenzuela Europa League run theorem.

Big clubs hire managers from clubs who go into a good run in the EL when such runs had to do more with variance than with expert coaching skills.

The big club then suffers as a result. Liverpool were victim of this by hiring uncle Roy back in the days.
This year victims are Sevilla and Dortmund.

That was the original question, if Arsenal played Everton, Palace or teams who are struggling or just generally not nearly as good as them. It'd be happy days.

They lost to a great Spurs side, lost a dead rubber, played City back to back and it's panic stations, massive pressure going away to Brighton. Sure they have their problems and their away from is piss poor this season.

Mean, Milan are bringing on Borini to chase a game with 10 to go.

Why does everything has to be analyzed and nitpick to death ffs.

What I wanted to say was that "Arsenal played, under my opinion , really good 45 minutes of football. I havent seen them play such good football in a while."
I didn't literally mean
"this is the best football Arsenal has played since 1st January of 2018. I have carefully weighted the qualify of opponents to make this judgment".

Are you guys like this in real life or only here in 2+2?

Two away goals, two Ozil assists, a clean sheet, and a very composed defensive performance. Delighted as well.

The everton game? Playing city back to back will make any team look bad (bar Liverpool who have mostly had their number).

I think this theorem would be more convincing had Stöger had any EL success

A year ago this guy was considered a genius fwiw. Think he's a fine manager for smaller clubs but he's pretty much robbed Dortmund of their identity.

gl with your political career. I'm sure your chameleon, suave "man of slightly above the people" self-presentation will go down depressingly well with the voters.

keep kicking out against the "geeks" tho' - it's a really good look irl
