This is only the case for the last 5 rounds or sth, before that information on other peoples betsizes/evaluations are rather useless and waiting the first few rounds to gather information like he mentioned makes no sense

so it prolly was more of a misunderstanding than a disagreement

Long story short: deflation. Given how poorly most others are bididng, you can get an Eto'o for ~160 in the first few rounds or a Milito for ~90 in one of the last. Your choice.

you of course have to adjust sometimes(if people start to underbet for example you of course should bet smaller as well) but given that the prices will fall eventually and we still have tons of quality players left adjustments arent necessary just yet

Are you levelling or are you seriously quoting your response to him to show that the argument was in fact only about something else to prove me wrong - when I'm saying exactly that, that you ignored one part and only responded to the other.

I could be wrong here, but I understood horizons first part (on overbetting) to imply deflation meaning patience = win. Didn't mean to offend you..

you will get your squad no matter what.

The gameplan should be to make your own evaluation based on quality of player, depth in the position, your budget and try not to panic when you dont get any players because people are overbetting all the time, that will change eventually due to the limited budget anyway

I feel I may have overbid slightly, but wanted a solid striker and GK early. Fabiano isn't in the class as some others, but I just didn't want to pay what Rooney went for on one player. Not having to worry about drafting a GK for the rest of the draft while picking up one of the best was what I wanted.
