Madrid players should probably book their holidays. La Liga is getting cancelled and it seems they had their post season parade before tonight's game

Congratulations Juventus, thoroughly deserved, best of luck in the final. A bunch of nice players to root for. Sucks that I won't be able to enjoy Pirlo's book as much as I wanted. Unfortunately I was right from day one.

lol RITS, no one cares about those invite tournament trophies from the 50s. People dislike RM because everything around the club oozes douchyness.

_ _ _ _

Who are RM gonna break the bank on this summer?

while i agree i doubt barca will defend set-pieces as well as madrid did and a fit pogba will make a difference as well

100 mio for Reus would solve all the problems imo
Spoiler:
for us

That Morata kid can score in the big games, might be someone for RM ;P

Chiellini is a wild card for Juve these days. Barca will abuse him imo. Back 4 generally isn't fast enough (then again who is these days). Pirlo is unfortunately a good bit off his eliteness as well but maybe he can summon his magic for one big game.
Fit Pogba/Vidal combo can give Barca fits, their attack is obviously dangerous as well. I kind of like their controlled counter style. Seems to be more about good paths and the second wave than pure speed.

Barca in shape is one of the better teams I've seen the last 5ish years. But one can hope for a nice game.

right barca side/left juve will probably be key, dani alves/messi trying to exploit evra/chiellini with pogba getting in behind the gaps dani alves leaves on the other side.
morata/tevez also def the type of strikers that can cause barca problems(more so than vs the more athletic real defenders)

not the best of games. many mistakes and lack of sharpness I thought (from Madrid too of course) but definitely well fought and great to finally be back in a Champions League final!

I think before the knockout stages/draw I actually made a post about not minding facing Barcelona which seems very crazy now and I can't remember my reasons for making such a post.

Of course back then Barcelona weren't quite the best team around and I guess had had some vulnerable periods or something...

At least Pogba should find some form come the final and hopefully Pirlo too can muster some kind of extra gear than what we're seeing currently.

I will say that tactically what they have to do against Barcelona is more simple than against Madrid where they had to be really varied mixing different tempo, slow possession then more direct, press or no press and defensive positioning, but in the end didn't even need great execution all the time - Barcelona will be very hard to stop but the gameplan of deep narrowness tactically resembling all the Milan/Allegri games against Barcelona seems like a given.

I can also see the Juve attacking duo moving well and close to each other posing some problems for the modestly numbered Barca defenders more similar to Juve-business as usual threatening the room behind than vs Ramos and Varane today who were both faster and until desperation set in didn't allow anything directly behind them.

Like others have focused on the Juve flanks almost can't and won't be defended until very deep and there will definitely have to be some specific gameplanning for Messi there and of course elsewhere.

Pirlo against these opponents could also easily be one step behind too many and that in the places where there aren't supposed to be space and breakdowns will be fatal.

It won't happen but I'm kinda hoping Marchisio plays the role which he has done very well recently and another midfield worker is inserted instead.

Overall Barca look too brilliant right now with too many skill advantages to not come through even against Juve side giving away less space, being more cagey all the time than they were over two legs against Madrid.

Best Juventus chance is probably something bizarre happening involving Suarez, Evra and Chiellini.

Not grats juve, though. However, since that semi was guaranteed to have a winner whose guts I hate, meh. Grats juve, I guess.
