I didn't say it didn't matter. I'm saying that his wins, when looked at through the broader spectrum of his statistical performances, look pretty flukey. I'm weighing the evidence.
On the one hand, you've got a guy who has won a couple of majors (and to be fair, other events). On the other you've got that same guy who isn't anywhere near the top tier of any single important statistical category. And who, at the moment, doesn't really seem to have much WIM.

Doesnt mean he won't get hot and win a couple more though. He's young, has his whole career ahead of him and already bagged 2 majors by multiple shots each time. That and his age lead me to believe he will get past this little draught and go on to win more majors.
So you would bet the under at 1.5?

That's the entire list of guys who have won multiple major championships. In the last 30ish years, you have something like 20 guys who have won multiple majors. I think you would be hard pressed to find too many guys on that list whose statistics ranked as poorly as Rory's did in every single category.
I would bet under 1.5, yes. Which isn't so much an indictment of Rory as it is of how hard it is to win a golf tournament today.
