Tried using the search feature which didnt bring up any skating threads or anything, Just wondering if any 2+2'ers actually skateboard? I used to skate a ton when i was younger (10-13yrs old?) but stopped when I hit secondary school.

Thinking about getting back into it (now 18 fwiw), Anyone else skate here at all? Be fun to get a discussion thread about skate related stuff.

I used to skateboard when I was younger as well. I actually say that I miss it but I have kids and a family and am involved in semipro football playing and reffing. Plus I am probably too old. I know I play football but skating is just another thing there. I am 31

Nah man, skating when you are 31 is totally normal. Just head down to the local middle school, no one will think twice.

pretty sure my buddy's brother (named Bro, aptly enough) is ~30 and he's a pretty serious skater.

I think skating is pretty rad but I never got into it. It's a pretty badass sport/hobby.

so should I pick it back up as a hobby and teach my 9 year old how to skate?

if you'll have fun with it why not? If your kid likes it sure. He'll be able to use his skeelz to pick up punk rock sloots in HS.

I think it would be pretty cool to teach your kid how to skate, surely would be good for the whole father/son bonding stuff.

Not super goth either, just dresses goth, dark makeup, and does anal goth.
