meh I guess I'm not a big enough tennis fan to enjoy a 1st round, 2nd set tiebreak between two mediocre players that had basically 25 unforced errors.

This.

It annoys me when they don't put the tie breaker on while someone is warming up, the warm ups are boring as hell.

Oh btw I have a friend who is supposed to be a line judge at some point. If you see a thin effeminate black guy who kinda looks like Samwell, that's him.

I'm always so torn with the Williams. They piss me off because they get so much coverage and Mary Carrillo. But they are American and almost literally the only chance at America winning consistently. I have high hopes for Roddick this tournament so if one of the Williams gets jacked up quickly, I won't complain to much.

hai dere Venus, can you please quit screaming everytime you hit the ball? It's definitively a turn off. I'll even double your order!

A buddy and I are thinking about going to the U.S. Open next year. What kind of tickets should we look at getting and how much will they set us back? We'd like to go a couple days and see some Sweet 16, Elite 8 matches, at least once at night.

I thought McEnroe/McEnroe would be more entertaining, especially in a match like this. Thats a no. At least Roddick is doing some damage right now.

Have to drop out now as I have to be up early tomorrow. But LOL at ARod being broken there after being up 40-0. I saw that Blake advanced, must have cheated.

Does the American broadcast have that annoying ticker across the bottom of the screen? The Canadian one does, on TSN (I assume it's just covering up the ESPN one who they're getting the feed off).

Would ESPN do that for baseball or basketball or any other sports? Why must they do this for tennis? ANNOYING and frankly insulting to tennis fans.

They do it for pretty much everything other than the NBA, don't know why the NBA is special.

They'll even broadcast the results of the tape delay match they're showing right then on it! God bless the ticker.

i just really looked at the whole draw.

lol at Djokovic in the first round

easily the toughest draw for anyone in the first round on the men's side.

Ljubicic is a former top 5 player, and he has had some good results this year.

I am picking Novak to lose in 5 sets this afternoon.

IL 2009

quarters at indian wells
QF at Monte Carlo
QF at Madrid

also played novak tough at Cincinnati a few weeks ago

Rogowksa is quite the spunky 18 year Aussie btw.
