Only time will tell which version is true, but I have my suspicions.
Pretty obvious the pushing thing picked up exponentially this season. And I haven't seen any other teams doing the ground blocking technique (as I imagine it's difficult to train an entire OL midseason something radically new), but an offseasons can change that easily enough. It's simply what a coach decides if it is important enough to implement.

He’s throwing to the GoaTE, juju, toney, mvs & a 2nd rounder and somehow was able to go through an entire game with only 182 passing yards and the for some reason they gift him the MVP. On his 1st pass TD kelce made his defender look like he was on ice skates and his other 2 TD passes were to players who were left un-guarded.

It didn’t deserve the regular season mvp either, but at least there an argument could be made for him being a top 3-5 candidate. He didn’t stand out in any way this game.

I feel like you're suggesting other coaches decided it wasn't important enough to ask their strong RBs to push their QBs on sneaks, and I don't think that's correct, but who am I?

The pushing thing picked up this year because it's easy to do. It does not take an off season to tell a 240 lb RB to push a QB or wildcat QB. Although it was done prior to this year, it certainly was done a lot more this year. Don't ask me why coaches weren't doing this feequently prior to this season, but again the NFL is a copycat league.

Were you watching a different game or are always this disgruntled? The only other person who deserved it would be Hurts. Mahomes also had 44 yards on the ground on a bum ankle and 3 td throws. The running game for the chiefs was very good but Pacheco and McKinnon clearly didn’t deserve it. I guess you could have given it to Bolton but mahomes was very good especially in the second half.

Sorry... you are saying Sanders and Gainwell are more important than any non-OL on that play?

There was a chiefs play late in the game prior to one of their scores, and you could see the Eagles DB basically left completely out of position because of Mahomes' ability to scramble and fake on thing and do something else. It was pure class very few QBs have the ability to do, much less in a pressure situation in the SB.

Ok. I'm pretty certain you're wrong, but next year will bear that out. We'll see

?

I'm describing a play that most, if not all NFL teams are capable of executing given adequate time, training, and preparation.

I didn't bring up the squat stuff, other than noting a number of players who can play wildcat can squat a lot of weight.

I am not defending Gannon, but people do realize Avonte Maddox was hurt, right? He was abused all game.

I love to hear that others teams don't have enough time to prepare for a play that they have been bitching about all year.
