the one thing I am not gonna ding Bill for is talent selection. He's got such a good track record there that having a few misses is entirely acceptable.

+1. I hate on Bill as much as anyone but there is no denying the business decisions he has made have been almost universally good.

I dont' really care if he does or not. The guy hardly ever posts anything there, though, so trying to monetize it seems like a dumb move. The regular stuff he posts is not very interesting unless you're a boston slappy anyway, so, bye.

actually, yeah. I subscribed during NBA playoffs like 2 years ago when he was doing food blogging in various playoff cities. Never bothered unsubbing just because of the low volume

Bill actually said this with no intentions of irony

I'm really close to turning on collinsworth. There's an anti-pats sentiment I'm just getting and I'm not alone. I'm not alone. Go ask other pats fans.

lol ok

I thought Katie Nolan was horrific on the BS podcast. She's capable of making above average 3-5 minute rant videos when she's passionate about a certain issue but she's a terrible podcaster. Hopefully she can improve over the next few years because I think there's some talent there.

This podcast was my last option on a long flight. I debated turning it off and staring at the seat in front of me.

Donald Trump wants to ruin the Internet

Quote:
While I technicaly still endorse Trump and would vote for him if I knew how, theres one part of his foreign policy that I am highly supsicious of: He wants to shut down parts of the internet in a effort to destabilize ISISs recruting. That seems fine enough but what if Trump decides to shut down other parts of the internet- like certain comment sections or worse yet, what if he decides to shut down the part of the internet that has the porn?

Some of us arent as fortunate as Mr. Trump to have such a blazing hot daughter to look at whenever we get the itch so we need our internet as a outlet for this energy, or you could see some very real consequences in terms of my mental health.

Im reminded of the old saying "first they came for ISIS.com, and I didnt say anything because I was not a ISIS forum user. Next they came for ebaumsworld and I didnt speak up because I havent been to ebaums world since I stopped wearing a chain wallet last spring. Then when they came for Redtube there was no one left to speak for me."
*crying*

Enjoyed the Lance Armstrong interview. Lance seems fearful of anything that could be taken out of things he says. Seemed pretty honest. He talks about understanding the sense of betrayal others felt, but you can still see a little bit of anger. I like him more after this interview.

Abby Wambach and Simba have a meandering discussion of the male/female wage gap without ever coming to a point, then she blames field turf for cancer, and conclude the podcast with a compelling discussion of jet fuel's effects upon steel beams.

Bill roundly endorses her campaign to become the Charles Barkley of soccer.

edit: I did enjoy her attitude about her sexuality.
