i figure all he has to do to make it better is just add a column where he talks about gambling. i would only read it to laugh at how stupid he is, but having something worth reading for any reason would be a significant improvement to the magazine.

Yeah, I mean, I'm a sucker for anything "Wire"-related but I can't help but think he could have done a better job; many of his quotes are barely relevant to what he ends up talking about with them

latest podcast was funny to listen to with simmons rambling on about lebron not having any form of a post game and not working on a post game.

At least take 5 seconds to google lebron james post game, or do some research. ESPN less than a month ago talked about and linked to a great article on lebron james improving/evolving post game.

great article. the point about his postgame being undefined and thus ignored was really well put. still, you gotta qualify anything simmons says with it's relevance to CRUNCH TIME, i think it's reasonable to point out that lebron could postup more in more key situations since he's obviously pretty effective already

I liked when he compared his wardrobe to starting pitchers, that was pretty funny, but I'm starting to realize that's kinda the way he sees his whole life and he's less and less clever each time

takedowns like that are sad because it's clear that the writer himself is incredibly well-steeped in something he doesn't like. why would anyone pay this much attention to bill simmons? the joy of a culture where a guy like simmons thrives is that there's something for everyone.

(for the record, i don't like simmons and only read him when something lol happens in boston sports, but i have a post ITT so i tend to click on it when it gets bumped)
