Rembert is the nut low for sure tho. That discussion of the TLC behind the music special was just turrible all around.

It's a good article and I'm glad it's the only thing I'll have to read by him on the Red Sox this year.

I also think it is slightly absurd that he keeps Brady on the outside of the "Boston Legends" circle jerk. He won three Super Bowls in four seasons and led game-winning drives in two of them. And he's one of the greatest QB's of all-time. I suppose if his point is that Brady isn't as BOSTON! as the others, then it makes a little more sense.

Brady is too corporate to be considered "Boston." No way he says "This is our ****ing city." right before a football game.

In his Calvin Johnson article Bill Simmons claims that Calvin swung the line by "more than a touchdown" when he was out for the game against Green Bay in week 5. Can anyone verify this?

My buddy who is an avid sports bettor claims that Calvin is worth only 2 points to the line (still the most valuable non-QB according to him). Also Aaron Rodgers going out swung the line by about 9 points a few weeks back if I remember correctly. I find it impossible to believe that Calvin is worth 7 if Aaron Rodgers is worth 9.

BS had a remarkable amount of self-awareness in his guest appearance on DYLPM. Also it was funny to see him throw around gambling terms and alex and wes had no ****ing idea what he was talking about.

Simmons: "Hey whoa! How about this? Blockbuster trade... Team A's X and Y for Team B's Z and next year's first rounder? WHO SAYS NO?"

Lowe: "Umm...well....X and Y's salaries are too much to take on for Team B....plus Team Z doesn't have the rights to their first rounder anymore etc"

Simmons: "*discouraged* aw man...I didn't even think of that"

Rinse and repeat like 5 times.
