Entitled bride demands $1500 from all of her guests so she can have a destination wedding. When she doesn't get the $60k total she needs, she loses her mind, cancels the wedding, breaks up with fiance, posts insane rant on FB, burns every bridge, leaves to travel the world
That's been posted in a few threads now and "unlikely to be real" has been the take from a number of people, which I think is weird. I think it's even more unlikely that someone would devote their time to faking that giant essay for no reason, and it's written in a consistent voice and with a few weird tics ("once and a lifetime party", as noted). That stuff is harder to fake than it looks. Even in the first sentence, anyone with enough intelligence to try to fake this automatically writes "It is with great sadness", not "It comes with great sadness", which is the voice of a dumbass trying to emulate a formal tone.
most stories on facebook are r/thathappened material but not sure why this one isnt believable. plus people who know about the wedding and her absurdity can see it
also knew right away anyone naming a kid declan would be like this
It's her fault anyway. She could have EASILY had the wedding
-Sell the engagement ring "worth nearly 5k"
-Go to psychic, ask for lucky numbers
-Take fiance up on his offer to go to vegas
-Post airplane pictures of your Crocs, ankle monitor, and sweatpants that say "juicy" on the ass in the fack
-Go to a roulette table in the bellagio pit
-Put every last cent on whatever numbers the psychic gave
-Rub Declyn's mullet for extra luck
-???
-Dream Aruba wedding
I'm just hoping I don't open facebook and find that's actually some relative of mine. Sure I believe it; there is no limit to how crazy chics will get about their wedding. A $60k destination wedding for community college trash? Sure, it's only $1,500 which is nothing when it's other people's money. Makes a lot more sense than mom leaving a little kid for a couple of months to go backpacking and getrapeding in South America.
