Medical school sounded miserable to me even from a young age. I would find working with the visceral every day to be gross. Not to mention the insane amounts of memorization and the insane hours you have to keep as a med student and resident. I think I'd rather go to law school than medical school.

I basically took a pre-med undergrad curriculum, and got better grades than a friend who went to med school (and did teaching and research and a bunch of other **** that said friend did not do).

Having the foresight to realize that medical school wouldn't have been for you even as your dumber friends were doing it sounds pretty smart to me. But probably because it mirrors my own experience pretty closely.
