The problem with you and your contingent is that you care a lot more about the poster of each post than the posts themselves. You almost never publicly disagree with posters within your clique (even if you privately do) and almost never publicly agree with someone who has already been deemed not one of you (even if you privately do).

We bash ourselves and argue with ourselves all the time because it's fun and nobody is always right. I sometimes won't even look at who posted something before I quote it to disagree with it.

it's more that i realized that my conflicts with these people come from this thread and draft threads, mostly.

This is part of the reason the initial whining that had lead to my whining made no sense in the first place. We were ruining the forum for you guys when you barely ever even had to read our posts.

Now we're all either banned or soon-to-be-banned for stuff that almost exclusively happens in this thread, which is a thread that probably shouldn't even exist anyway.

Not gonna defend my NFL posting from last year and probably should have gotten a perma. The NFL threads tilt me and I'd be better off staying away. You guys complained long beyond that though and even months after TUt was banned and I started posting again (even aside from the Variety Draft hoax too).

I think if this thread didn't exist and people won't stop with forum drama in other threads, THEN the mods recent threats would make more sense and those bans would be way more legit since people are actually getting bothered while trying to discuss sports.

Permabanning Victor for making a joke post in this thread and then giving him a hugely hypocritical ultimatum, all in this thread, is where there is a problem.

The only fear of closing this thread is that the mods have already made it so hard for people to speak out against them, it would be almost impossible without this thread.

also, for like the fifth time, this current argument started when i posted my opinion of bill simmons, a bunch of tz posters started attacking me, and i was so goddamn mad that i stepped back and said "hey guys this isn't the right thread for this" while you continued attacking me in the simmons thread because you apparently can't control yourself.

he's most likely running hot but still probably pretty good. he's probably a lot closer to the .840 ops hitter he appeared to be last season than the 1.000 ops hitter he appears to be this season though.

I have no idea what any of the Simmons stuff is about and I can't stand Simmons but I think all parties involved should just admit that they're all mad and then have a nice cold beer, relax, and watch some NBA today.
