hang in there man. we have 3. if either of the boys (4 and 2 years old) died I'd be pretty upset for a while. if the girl (5 years old) died, the hole would be dug 6 minutes afterwards. kidding. mostly.

just pull them out with a tweezer. the first couple times it hurts like hell and your eyes will water up but eventually you kill all the nerves

sorry to hear that schu.
was the cat fixed? (sorry if you mentioned it earlier and i didn't see it). i've heard similar advice for both dogs and cats regarding them getting spayed or neutered too early and causing problems down the road.

or buy a $10 nose hair trimmer and deal with it painlessly. either way seems good.

never understood why dogs and cats had to be an either/or proposition. both are awesome in their own way.

those nose trimmers aren't that good and break pretty easy. ever since i switched to tweezing much better. only have to do it once a month and it goes quicker

also cats are so replaceable. just go to some alley, find one that looks like the one you had, and there you go

there's literally 5 billion homeless cats, just pick one. if you don't like it just return it and get a new one

my aunt has 2 dogs and a cat. 2 dogs are some of the cutest and most-behaved dogs i've ever seen.

Cat though... attacks anything that comes close and is one of the meanest animals i've ever seen.

Also dogs love you and cats feel like they own the place etc.

we've discussed this before but my buddy's dog does that to me every time i walk into his house.

i was gone last weekend for a wedding and when i got back my cat ran around yowling like a lunatic until i sat down and let her get in my lap. she has a similar but less pronounced reaction when i get home after just going out for the night. she doesn't act like that when other people come through the door though.
