Why do people read ATF?

There are "ATF regs" who see that as their home forum. Never understood it.

I used to post in ATF on the regular when I was bored, years ago. Kind of embarrassed about that now.

At a glance though the forum is probably a lot better today than a year or two ago when every complaint would be immediately with a mod dogpile. That was pretty lame.

Those are the same people whose hobby in high school was "gossiping".

They are just interested in the drama.

Somewhat flabbergasted there's sharp people who think iggy believes the crap he's selling. Giving somebody credit for thinking different when the whole point of their posting is getting attention by making a deliberate choice to argue against convention for the sake of arguing against convention is weird as hell.

Crossnerd is Jenn Fox- who got ran out of OOT for being crazy like 5 years ago (and IIRC may have had a similar experience in NVG as well- I forget what exactly ended with Former WPT Superstar Alex Jacob sending me angry PMs for being mean to his girl).

Jenn and Alex were cool as hell when we hung out in Vegas.

anatta might be like the guy in the myth who was walking with his friend and then they found a hole in the sky that would let them see into heaven; one of them got the other to give him a boost so he could look in, but the instant he got a look he gasped in joy and then forgot everything before and stayed there staring forever.

then again anatta might also just be staring at his windows stars screensaver for like the last ten minutes. But praise be to anatta, and to the people living on their knees communicating the incommunicable, and like the song goes do not necessarily think that you will be aware of your own enlightenment, and like the other song goes I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
