Last post about Roadhouse because it's fireworks time, but the Dalton/Jimmy fight always delivers. "I used to **** guys like you in prison" is one of the most ridiculous insults of all time and the throat rip-out is like a top 5 GOAT movie moment.

we used to sing this song in 5th grade music class. surprised i remember that the words after stand up are "next to you and defend her still today" since we'd all still be giggling after jumping out of our seats when we sang "stand up"

you, sir, are a True American Patriot.

Ben Franklin would skip a meal for you.

Abe Lincoln would let you live if you were a vampire.

Franklin Roosevelt would stand up to shake your hand.

Martin Luther King would forever nap, foregoing REM sleep in your honor.

I would post the wifer ass pics i've taken over the course of the day, but you'd probably ride up on me on a pearl-white thoroughbred, slap me with one of those really long $3 slim jim's and smother me with one of those generic diapers next to your 12-gauge.

Was grilling with my sister and her fiance when CRUISEEEEEEEE came on the radio. Before I could even say that its a great song her fiance turned it up and said "this is the first song that is on the wedding playlist." I told him he needs to make sure it plays later too and he said "well, its the only song that I have twice, but I could put it on again."

Makes me feel a little more at ease about the wedding.

One day per year I play with the nephews and neices. Soooo sore, neck stiff and feels jammed even though I didn't even let anybody dive off of my head this year. Went all out though, certainly enough to endear them to me for another year, heh heh. Parents slightly mad about teaching them how to climb up higher on the dock and jump in after monologuing Ron Burgandy style and cannon-balling, but **** 'em. Kids gotta learn that stuff somewhere, and I can't help it if I'm the only adult at the party that idn't stricken by a hangover.

Also, since when is getting thrown into the water while tubing unexpected, exactly? Good thing other family members started feeding those guys drinks!

Close by taking them to fireworks via pontoon-boat ride to barge in front of some guy's house who puts on a great show, and his neighbors throw up their own decent contribution. Pretty cool, and at this point the kids look forward to it instead of getting scared. Even the crabby-assed parents loved it! The only real problem with it is the flurry of boat traffic leaving at the same time in the dark with numerous intoxicated/tired drivers but not to worry kids, uncle Holliday's got dis. Hank's Orange the GOAT fireworks-on-the-water soda!

Wife stayed home most of the day (boisturous crowds are a no-no) and unfortunately had another fall. No head contact this time but I'm officially worried (could mean the brainstem is getting more pressure). I came home right after (ESP again, I guess) and iced and elevated her leg (big bruise) and checked in on her a few times during the day. Seemed to be walking and moving fine, on the bright side she can't feel the bruise at all.

Decided to break morning IF with breakfast from either Hardees, Chik-fi-la, or Atlanta Bread Company via random number generator; came up Chik-fi-la--spicy chicken buiscuit >>>>> plain chicken buiscuit>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>bacon egg & cheese buiscuit. Next time will stick to the chickens, and the spicy was impressively loaded for a family christian place, I must say.

I've only had good Chipotle experiences.

I nominate Sonic for 'most overated'.

I find it tough to believe that a top 10 fast food restaurant of all time is the most overrated.

#StandWithKarak

Had chipotle once line was super long, slow, ended up having a friend order for us. Not really impressed. Plenty of "fast food" Mexican places in L.A. with way better burritos and tacos, with faster service and huge servings.

Place in south L.A. called "El Gavilan" not sure if it's being there at 2am or the actual food, but would rather risk getting caught in a drive by there, than waiting in line at chipotle again.
