A+ job to SE for a very reasonable discourse in the Gay Athletes thread.

For a brief time there until certain people chimed in, it was depressing, but then I was mercifully reminded that only some people are dense and lacking empathy

PHB,

The forum has a really good track record discussing real world issues-of-the-day and things that would normally be in Politics. I have nothing but faith in forum as a whole.

Wait, wait; this sounds like just my kind of thread to jump into late and tard the **** out of for no reason. But, oh my...would you look at the time. Maybe the next one.

Did I ever tell you guys that I had a rock climbing partner for 4 years without realizing he was gay? And, like, really gay, too. That gaydar thing--I don't has it. Also, he was Israeli and jewish. Totally caught me unawares on all 3, although I had sorta wondered why he never talked about France and what the deal was with those hipster-avant-garde Hannucha parties every year. But the gay thing was just not fair; he was always talking about his girlfriends, for pete's sake.

Some may say I'm comically oblivious (wife, for instance) but I prefer to think of me as colorblind and non-judgemental or something.

If only the profanity filter was disabled long enough to cross post comments about the topic from WorldStar. I think Clark would legit throw acid in his eyes if he read them.

Yeah, I thought it was a good softball for a dick-sucking joke via a pretty famous movie line, which could be construed as anti-gay in the face of your gay-accepting praise.

I guess my joke didn't work.

I agree with you btw. But I don't think it has much to do with SE posters being...like...more mature or something. I think it's that we're a close-knit group whose common bond is something lighthearted (sports) and so we don't take things THAT seriously. Even serious issues. I don't even get that RUSTLED when Riverman makes fun of my religious or political beliefs. Mostly because as a sports poster, I like him. But if I ever ventured into politards I would - wait..I would never do that. That sounds like the worst idea ever.

I would tend to attribute the good discussions to this forum mostly consisting of educated and intellectually capable posters who tend toward openmindedness.

Doing jumping jacks when you've had diarrhea all day is not a good idea. Legit feels like someone put a bottle of Olive Oil up my ass and has been squeezing randomly throughout the day. **** you Dominos.

The ones that don't shrink? If those are the ones, they aren't making them anymore, afaik. I used to get the mediums from Target; last batch I got were huge, but they shrunk right before I was gonna go back and get smalls.

So, they aren't making them anymore, but they're all running a bit bigger.

If this is still a problem, or you're not feeling right about that route, get your normal size and dry on low heat or pull them after 20 minutes to put on a rack.

If this isn't what you're talking about, carry on.
