I left a floater Yuengling can at my friends last night. When I woke up and was cleaning up I realized it and had to chug it this morning. Still was delicious. I am disappointed though, that was officially my first floater since my frosh year of college.

It was a horrendous moment in my drinking life. I was pretty embarrassed. Especially because my lady friend had to see it. Though I'm pretty sure I scared her when I drank the floater this morning.

I have only had one Heineken ever though, so that could be part of it.

Budweiser is a consistently average tasting beer. It always taste the same and is the right combination of taste and drinkability.

Corona is basically drinking water and due to the bottle can often be very skunky. It has very little flavor as well, no surprise chicks love drinking it. Adding a lime to it basically turns it into limeade.

Heineken is a gross beer and suffers from many of the same skunky problems of Corona due to its green bottle.

In general, you will always get a better tasting beer from Budweiser, even though its really not a good beer. Its just what it is, a completely average beer. So for me, I'll take the average beer over water and skunk any day of the week, and I don't even particularly like Budweiser.

i see your point. Personally i've never had an issue with skunky Corona's, and my sample size on Heineken will probably not grow that much in my lifetime. Corona for me without a lime is kind of worthless though because the only time I am ever drinking corona is with lime, and the liquor store i went to is out of pacifico.

edit: i only drink either of those when it's really warm out, so for me that's maybe 3 months out of the year that those beers are an option.

you'll have the skunky problems if you buy them and let them sit for a bit, especially in lit or light areas. Its primarily due to the bottle. Always be wary of beer in clear and green bottles since they let in a lot more light than brown bottles. I've never had problems in bars or restaurants since I assume they turnover those beers pretty quickly, but then I rarely order them anyway.
