The Foxx hate seems unfair to me. Couldn't really think of anyone id rather have played Django.

Part didn't have the great dialog as some of the other parts but thought Foxx owned the non verbal stuff pretty well which was the important part of the character.

Yep, Will Smith would have ad-libbed too many "funny" lines in rehearsals and strong-armed them through the final cut.
