Brian Roberts made it, I think that's about it for prospects. Just checking the stats quickly, Josh Towers went 0-9 with a 7+ ERA and somehow made it back to the majors and did OK the next year, and Howie Clark got some pub for getting faked out by ARod on a popup a few years back, but that's it. But the guys who sucked really sucked, and they were not very happy about it
I read Odd Man Out (Matt McCarthy). It was a good story (touching stuff about Tony Reagins - now Angels GM) and well written to boot; the guy graduated from a 1.5 million dollar school (Yale).
Aside from Richard Jefferson not many athletes are happy about sucking.
lamar odom tho

If one was an online poker operator and was responsible for acquiring a constant supply of new fish, and one further knew that grinding pros won 2-3x as much money from
the fish as they (the pros) paid in rake while shortening the fish lifecycle and increasing the cost of fish acquisition), what would one think/do?

I thought about this for two seconds, but offer a BBJ and/or up the rake slightly. Other 'solutions' are to limit the number of tables people can play.
Having a higher rake and a VERY easy to win BBJ together would be great for this. Something like doubling the cap on the rake and puting 25% of it toward a BBJ where all it takes is an A high flush or better losing (using both cards) would be great. That way all the donks get their money back on the hands that they get stacked on anyways and get to keep playing. Plus every (few) hundred hands or so some money gets passed around the table. Have one BBJ for each limit and it will be paying out just about constantly on a site as big as Stars or FTP.
i would set up RangerStars, the official room of the new york rangers. every tournament when you get down to the final 2 tables the tournament immediately ends
