Kind of curious where you got this data because 9 is pretty obscure and hard to find. Could the list be only Mars products?

w/r/t Hershey's C+C, I keep a bowl of assorted mini chocolate candy bars in my kitchen of varieties I like for random snacking. It contains Hershey's original, Mounds, 3 Musketeers, Butterfinger, with an occasional guest appearance by a Baby Ruth or similar. Well the Safeway by me started stocking the C+C variety recently so I picked up a couple of sleeves (8 small bars per sleeve) and layered one into the bowl with the rest of the chocolate. Very anal retentively - like four on top and then 2X2 farther below.

Well the next day the cleaning lady comes. She's been known to help herself to a drink or two and some candy. Don't care, no big deal. Except this time she ate (and/or took) every goddamned one of the Hershey's C+C that I had just put in the day before, even digging down to the bottom to get the ones I had layered. That was super annoying and I considered saying something to her but whatever. Like, just take half of them so the guy who bought them doesn't get completely shut out ffs.

Kenneth hilarious as always but he's not totally wrong IMO. Ashamed to say I wore XL shirts for most of my 20s. As previously mentioned I'm pretty skinny so they hung off me. Switched to large last year and saw a marked increase in compliments and post-movie butt touching.

going from an XL to L when you are pretty skinny is a different league than going to a S when you are 200 lbs

I think I would have to cut a medium off me. I know I would have to cut a small off me.

You sir, have excellent taste in candy. Peanut butter M&M's>>>Reese's Pieces

I buy whatever size is long enough, like occasionally I'll come across a Large-XTall shirt and it's like winning the lottery. Large-Tall fits most of the time. Most regular larges aren't long enough but sometimes I'll find one that works. If no tall sizes available, settle for an XL. Dress shirts are also a pain in the ass, not a lot of selection at 38/39. I think I would tear a medium trying to put it on

38/39 is insane. I find that some brands don't even carry 36/37 so I can't imagine longer.

Fwiw i might be a little under 200 at this stage, but def not < 195. Lookin like a jerk is IN
well you appeal to a certain demographic. imo a different demographic of females is also likely to take you less seriously if you're wearing a too-small/"perfectly-fitting" t-shirt. you might not care or it might fit with your persona well enough anyways, but it seems relevant. (generally agree that people err on the side of too loose.)

I dunno, i think my style might offput some conservative girls from the midwest or w/e but appreciation for fit seems pretty universal.

Its not like my clothes are super tight. If you guys saw me wearing a small tshirt and werent privy to the size itd look perfectly fine to you.

Id suggest that next time any of you goes shopping that you try a size or two smaller than normal and then poll a woman or two regarding her opinion on the fit.

here's a fun fact:

in the last 4 years the new york yankees have spent $803,946,997 fielding their team. they have 0 AL pennants to show for it

in the entire history of the florida marlins they have spent $786,797,224 fielding their teams. they have 2 world series titles to show for it

I have polos (the actual brand with the horse) in both large and Xl. I wash the Xl ones in hot and dry them to try to shrink them and wash the larges in cold and hang dry them. The handful of comments I have gotten on the larges have all indicated they're too small and the handful of comments on the Xl indicate they're too big. I tend toward the larges with shorts but there often isn't a good solution. I feel like the large fits slightly better but there should be an in between size.

Dean's right. Think about Italian style.

However, if you're fat, and I'm guessing lots of you are, you stay baggy.

another fun fact:

in 1994 the new york rangers went to and won their last stanley cup finals

since then they have won 48 playoff games in the last 18 seasons

conversely the san jose sharks in that same stretch have won 77 playoff games

neither team has appeared in the stanley cup finals though!
