I'm pretty sure you know this though and are looking for ancillary advice. I was in my closing on a Friday afternoon for 4 hours because I'm a nit. Title lady probably wanted to kill me.

It's such a good time to buy right now I would think. Rates are still super low and prices haven't recovered yet, but the stock market has.

I got a 4.5 fixed 15-year loan 3 years ago and was fist-pumping pretty hard about it. Now they're like 2.5 and I'm too ****ing lazy to look into refinancing.

Read the closing docs before closing?

The good news is I don't care what she thought about me. Making sure I don't get screwed over with my mortgage or home purchase is way more important to me than some title lady's happiness while doing her job.

We also had to call my broker because he ****ed up a number again. Dude ****ed up the numbers on every GFE document he sent me. He was a PITA to deal with.
