This. Don't think there's a huge gap between Suarez and Aguero though.

Sanchez and Hazard both had 52 appearances in 14-15. Sanchez had 25 goals 12 assists (0 pens), Hazard 19 goals 13 assists (6 pens). Sanchez spent (much?) less time on the ball and contributed a lot more on defense, he was more valuable and it's not close, Hazard doing roulettes 40 yards from goal is overrated

Hazard > Sanchez by a nice gap. Sanchez is obv real good but hazard is goat status. Literally wins games on that miserable bus Chelsea team

Lewandoski quite a bit ahead of Costa.

Am I guilty of FPS for wanting to put Lewandowski ahead of Aguero just cause of durability?

With Hazard what I don't know is how much do I grade on a curve b/c he has to play for MouAIDS. Like if he got to play through the middle like at Lille what would happen? Cause based on what I see I would put Sanchez > Hazard. Also don't sleep on what Sanchez did at Udinese when he had the team built around him.

typical Germans.

And I mean that as a compliment. It seems Bayern have really got it down pat now, going in ****ing big when necessary (remember Javi Martinez a few years ago) and then also scooping a lot of cheap depth/futures.

They're almost never buying in the midrange the way Pool will spend 15-25m on guys for or maybe a better example, Dortmund having to restock with guys like Immobile

United buying Mane is midrange. They should just go in hard for KdB or Griezmann level or else just give the minutes to Jammysi

Utd could never get kdb. City would outbid them so quickly if he was open to market.

There is one semi-rational explanation - his wife was due to and indeed did give birth around the Stoke game, so he wasn't expected to play in that game. Lovren and Skrtel then did well - particularly Lovren, who was arguably motm - and it's understandable Rodgers wanting to keep that same back line for the Bournemouth game, where, again, they kept a clean sheet. Now B-Rod is in a bit of a pickle, does he take Lovren out for Sakho, and unsettle what has been a solid enough partnership over the first two games of the season, or does he leave by far our best CB on the bench??

Answer:

Spoiler:
GlovrenTFOtheteam, don't wait until he drops the inevitable clanger.

Alternatively, the above could all be an attempt by Liverpool fans to rationalise one of Rodgers' more irrational decisions.

Israeli press saying balotteli is going to Lazio. Take it as 70% true.

One question. Why TF sakho was on the bench vs Bournemouth?

I guess because Lovren and Skrtel did so well @ Stoke. I think that unfortunately we just have to wait until Lovren ***** up again - prior experience tells us we won't have to wait too long.

Jesus Christ, poor Balo is going to get a very tough time from those Lazio fans if anything goes wrong. Although if the threat of hoards of Roman fascists storming his house every time he misperforms doesn't incentive him to start pressing and stop shooting from 40 yards every time he receives the ball, i guess nothing will.

I'm not sure wtf is going on at Burnley.

After already signing 3 strikers this window, to go with the 4 we already have (for big money for us), it now looks like we're aiming to smash our transfer record on Andre Gray from Brentford after he turned down a £9m move to Brizzle City.

We still don't have the central midfielder we've needed for at least two seasons. Maybe Dyche is planning to take the long ball tactics to a whole new level.

We seem to be splashing the cash around this summer, makes you wonder why they didn't want to spend it when they were in the PL last season.

Because to be good enough to stay up you would have had to spend so much more (especially on wages). This way you've got a financial advantage with parachute payments for a few years so you may as well take a punt.

Over the last five seasons, Arsenal has scored more goals than Chelsea. It is within 3 goals every season, except for 11/12 where Arsenal scored 9 more than Chelsea. You have to go back seven years for the last time Chelsea scored at least four more in a season than Arsenal.

Good job, good effort Stak. Want to take a shot at a physio while you're at it?
