well looks like Chicharito's time at ManUre is finally coming to an end. wasn't named to the US tour squad, even though he's the guy everyone in the US was paying to go see. hope he stays in EPL, but looks like Inter want him, so that's not bad either.

do you have any news on whether or not he has learned how to take a first touch?

not yet. i would have figured that a team as big as ManUre would have helped him with this problem by now, but i guess not. hopefully the trainers at Inter are better.

his looks like a problem that literally can't be helped

Spoiler:

we've been watching this for a couple of years now. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate his cunning inside the box but my god, that first touch of his when he has his back to goal is like literally what you can expect to see semi-regularly in the very lowest tiers of football.
I just don't understand it. But good luck to him, he's likeable and has provided some good moments. But I won't miss him.

I figured that his first touch is dog**** and no amount of coaching will sort it out at this age.

Dortmund window depends on immobile imo. Ginter is great obv but Ramos is ~average. If they can't replace their striker, no one's gonna be happy.

Gotta admit though that he looks promising

Wowzers. Looks like we're getting £7m for Assaidi as well.

BAIDS - Isco is another one being linked to Liverpool now, complete load of bollocks.

The echo is probably the best newspaper source for Liverpool as well. Bit of a shame that even they pathetically think we have a chance at any of those.

tbf if the widely reported 100m chest of war is to be believed then i duno why you couldn't chuck 60m at juve and 150k/wk at poggers. and if he says no then keep adding 25k/wk till he says yes

Would love to do that if we didn't have pep on 110k Johnson on similar and kolo on 60-70k with plenty of other stupid examples. Our wage bill will sky rocket in no time. Plus DS seems like a player who will want a nice wage increase sooner rather than later as well as sterling and that could be expensive.

That's the rumour section of the echo where they take all the nonsense from the star/mirror etc. and chuck it all in one place.

That story originated in the star.

I'm not convinced by your figures but the 3 you mention are in their last year anyway.

The search for kolo came out with even higher wages. Tbh I'm not sure we can justify gerrards hefty wages after this season, but he is due a fair whack for his service. Point is the wage bill isn't that under control and it's likely we will need go bump a few guys soon. We can afford it if we bink CL again.

Remy would be a decent buy for <10mil. Know we were looking at Davies but think he's about equal to Enrique so will gladly swerve.

WBA just bought a random for 10 million. TV deal is kicking in if the misers of the league are breaking their record two years on run. Guy is legit set to fail.

Remy is decent. Their really just aren't any stikers much better available, and would you really want to take a flyer on someone like Jackson Martinez for 3-4x the price of Remy?

I watched a fair amount of Sunderland last year (i know, i know) and thought Borini was a nice little player. Literally. But if you had asked my how many pounds he would have demanded in the xfr window I would have guessed about 5mil. Whoever sells players from Sunderland needs a raise.

yeah, half the league are desperately searching for any striker/forward types willing to come who they can spend money on. no surprise that borini and assaidi are going for so much in the context of the pl economy.

hope/assume united are on the lines with everyone monitoring fellaini interest. he'll have some say in the move (unfortunately), but would be an elite investment in his advanced/2nd striker role for a number of teams.
