Ancelotti wants Verratti and Perez wants the money to sign James Rodriguez, who is a RM fan since he was a kid and basically said a million times in the last month that he would walk to Madrid.

Der Markt: Di Maria at PSG at the end of the summer - 1.25
Verratti leaving would be weird at this point, getting Di Maria would be sexy but someone upfront would probly need to be let go (guessing Lavezzi or maybe Cavani).

Blanc and Gasset headed to Spain right afer being back from Austria to have a talk with Aurier

Then you keep Verratti and we swap Cavani for Di Maria. ?

Rumours are that Khedira is really close to joining Arsenal, der markt has it at 1.50.

As a RM fan, do I want Luiz Gustavo to replace him? I know they're not of the same profile, but still?

Well after reading Cashy's opinions on it, how happy should i really be? I was under the impression that Khedira was awesome defensively, but maybe there's a lot more to it that i haven't figured out yet.

Paulinho being underrated.

Also feel like Vidal is slightly overrated.

If Juve can do that swap and come out ~£15m better off I think they'd be doing ok.

On Paulinho:

Sport Witness @Sport_Witness
The Paulinho rumours in Italy seem to all say according to English/British press.

Sport Witness @Sport_Witness
However, Juve have been linked to a Brazilian striker also called Paulinho this week. Couldn't have been a mix-up, surely?

Sport Witness @Sport_Witness
Paulinho is a 28 year old striker who plays for Livorno and Tuttosport linked him with Juventus last week.

Sport Witness @Sport_Witness
Not one line in Turin sport [Juventus mainly] newspaper Tuttosport about Paulinho and big bid. And they love a rumour.
Sorry Spurs fans.

I love Khedira as a player, but it is sort of weird he is mainly linked to Chelsea/Arsenal. Not a direct need for either.

Balague : Is it true the (Suarez) clause was €100m and you managed to buy him for €81m?

Barca president : we are not allowed to say but roughly, you are right.

The forward has been unveiled at Camp Nou, with the club confirming the financial details behind the deal

Barcelona have revealed they will pay €57 million for Brazil star Neymar after presenting the player to supporters on Monday.

While he could confirm the total cost of the transfer would be €57m, Bartomeu could not specify exactly how much would be paid to each party due to confidentiality clauses.

I'm not sure re: Paulinho. He was way overrated now the pendulum may have swung too far. I guess most of the Spurs fans are just tired of seeing him smash shots into the 30th row. There is a lot of potential there.

I agree about Vidal. He was not as beastly last season as the one before too. Still an awesome player though. No idea what kind of fee is rumored right now, but if it is more than about £35m I'm not so sure about it.

So Suarez deal roughly equal to 2 years of CL qualification.

I guess if Pool get top 4 next season they can argue it was a good deal; if they don't then it won't look quite so good.

Agnelli has said that everyone at Juve is available for the right price.

Vidal and Pogba are obviously the most valuable commodities. I could only see one potentially go though, and of course the money would have to be immense.

If one of them is sold, Di Maria coming in would be a dream. He would really add something new to that midfield and of course be available as a wing should that come into play again.

More realistic, and maybe Andre has the latest, is Rabiot who is definitely one of the best midfielders his age and can look godly already. Juve has been trying to lobby for him for a while and apparently he (and his mom) have become unpopular in Paris by refusing to sign a new contract. The old one has actually run out (gasp) so quite a few clubs should be lining up for his signature. Big decision for him (and his mom).

I don't think it is a bad deal for them in light of the suspension. If that number above is right, they got in excess of £64m for him. Realistically he wouldn't be at Pool more than 1-2 more seasons anyway unless he regressed enough to put other clubs off from buying him when compounded with age. So the % of his remaining Pool games he misses is very significant especially if you factor in that other suspensions should be more or less expected since he has served several lengthy ones already.

Plus it increases the like-ability of the club and prevents them from embarrassing themselves with their blind loyalty.

Think Paulinho would be great in a 4-3-3 but think he'll step up regardless under Pochettino.

Vidal would be a great signing for United because he would significantly strengthen a weak spot for them but the fact that nobody else is seemingly interested when most other top clubs have already signed or are still looking to strengthen in midfield is pretty telling in itself.

We've been linked with Rabiot, think he's contracted for one more year though.

Rabiot is staying unless we have a midfielder lined up imo, he and his mom aren't opposed to run out his contract and neither do us

khedira would only make sense if we were switching to a 4-3-3 which we won't as it doesn't fit özil
